Bristol has all the life of a larger city packed into a more manageable size, so it's impossible to feel unengaged and uninspired here. From walking tours to amazing festivals, including Bristol Food Connections, Bristol Pride, Bristol Sounds, and Bristol Harbour Festival, there is always something going on. With a city bursting with as much creativity as Bristol, it's no wonder the city is filled with art galleries and spaces that are open the the public. From contemporary galleries like the Arnolfini to classic museums like the M Shed on the harbourside, there's plenty for art lovers to see and do here.

Bristol has an interesting history and a cosmopolitan culture where you will find lots of great eating out, nightlife down by the harbourside, shopping and history. The annual Harbour Festival and the International Balloon Fiesta both take place in the summer along with many other markets, music festivals and exhibitions.

Bristol is a fantastic city to visit. It only takes 20 mins from the Goat shed. I would suggest heading over to Clifton, and around the harbourside - Park the car in Trenchard St, or West End NCP for ease. One day isn't really enough to take in Bristol - so book in a couple of days to ensure you do it justice!

Restaurant recommendations. There are so many amazing places to eat in Bristol so I will list some of my favourites. I would recommend booking in advance as lots of places get booked up quickly. Steak restaurants that I would recommend are the Cow shed on white ladies’ road Or the Ox on corn street. Both are lovely places to eat if you would like a nice evening meal. For Tapas/Moroccan restaurants I would suggest the Souk Kitchen there is 2 in Bristol, and both are fabulous and reasonably priced. There is also a tapas restaurant by the harbor which is lovely in the summer as you can sit and look out over the water. It is called the Olive Shed and I would certainly recommend it. And finally for tapas there is a small restaurant called Bravas located on White ladies’ road. There are many Italian restaurants in Bristol but some of the best are, San Carlos, Aqua Italian and Bianchi’s which is owned by a good friend of mine. If you are looking for a Mexican restaurant the best two in Bristol is Casa Mexicana or Cargo Cantina. Both also do delivery on Deliveroo. If it’s a yummy brunch or breakfast you are looking for, I would highly recommend the crafty egg, they don’t take bookings, but you can just turn up. I would recommend getting an Uber that would take you around 10 minutes, as parking is not easy in this area. If this is busy you could try Boston tea party, they have around 3 locations in Bristol and do a reasonable breakfast/ brunch with a god variety from burgers-breakfasts.
