The Museum of Mercy of Porto is located in the historical center of Oporto, in Rua das Flores, in the building that was the headquarters of the institution from the middle of the 16th century until the year 2013. The Museum presents itself with the dual purpose of making known the history of the Holy House of Mercy of Porto and its institutional purposes, as well as publicizing its art collections, by providing a set of resources that translate the memory and the identity of this organization, projecting it into the future. The visit to the Museum is also an opportunity to get to know the past and present of this area of the city. The museum tour includes the Misericórdia Church.
