The King's View is perhaps the most popular place to visit. It is about 1-2 km walk on the path from Kleivstua. You drive up Dronningveien from Sundvollen up to Kleivstua where you can park. And from here you stand at the gate to the fantastic Krokskogen.

You can hike from next to the Spar or drive up to Kleivstua hotel (we drive up). A nice hike ok for kids +4 years, there are small places to make a fire and roast Marshmallows at the top.

A nice hike a bit higher up the mountain will take you to this famous viewpoint giving you exceptional views of Tyrifjord and surrounding areas on a clear day. It is located 484 meter above sea level and the King visited it in 1832. From then on it was called Kongens Utsikt (King's view). Enjoy some rest and food upon arrival while you try the panorama picture settings on your phone/camera.
