You could walk to White Rock from here but it would take about 45 minutes. I would recommend driving down Marine Drive and parking at the east end of the beach and walking the promenade and pier. It's very beautiful

The huge white rock that sits at the East end of this promenade is part of the fun of this local scene. Just across the street you will find a lot of beachside eating and Ice Cream spots, music playing many Friday nights in Summer, a lot of young romantics on dates by the sea, and people doing yoga on their paddleboards . In fall it is often a lovely warm place to walk in the morning if the sun is shining.There is a festival of light in Winter and the views are always south facing and stunning. You can see the USA from here! Great place to stroll or stride.
