The museum known as THE COLUMNS, displays "The Lincoln Flag", a large American flag that was put under President Lincoln's head while he lay bleeding at Ford Theater. It was donated to the Pike County Historical Society in 1954.
Columns Museum is an official county museum offering genealogical and educational services and group tours. The museum's exhibits center around the people, places and happenings that have made Pike County's history so colorful. Current features include the Lincoln Flag, Hiawatha Stagecoach, C.S. Pierce Room and vintage clothing.
