While Texas isn't known for public transportation, the bungalow location offers prime access, including 2 of Austin's 4 MetroRapid routes within a few blocks. Plan your trip at capmetro .org

#3 will easily and cheaply take you up South Lamar. there are a lot of bus stops around here going in all directions.

Bus # 333 is handy at the bottom of Convict Hill Rd. or across from HEB. Park and Ride on 290 W takes you downtown but is only available on weekdays. Bus schedule available at the Taylor house.
