The Rangsdorfer See is a natural lake located south of Berlin in the district of Teltow-Fläming . It is the heart of the Rangsdorfer See nature reserve . The lake is a popular water sports area in summer, and also for ice sailing and other ice sports in winter. The Rangsdorfer See has a declining water level and threatens to silt up completely in the next 150 years . Restrictions on use should already exist in 50-70 years. A non-profit association has been founded to save the Rangsdorfer See. In 2008, the district council of Teltow-Fläming unanimously approved an application to rehabilitate the five large lakes in the district - the Rangsdorfer See, the Mellensee, the Großer Wünsdorfer See, the Blankensee and the Siethener See in the next 30 years

Im Sommer großartig zum Baden und Boot fahren, im Winter friert der See schnell zu zum Schlittschuh laufen. // Swimming and boating in summer, ice skating in winter.
