FYI there is a free local river hangout spot right across from the entrance to the Bosque park. And just on the other side of the bridge is a road that goes down to a parking area to access the multi use paved path that runs north all the way to Picacho.

The tail end of this park is just to your right as you come over the dam. Great hiking and a wonderful stop for young kiddos
