Did you know that this area of the Adelaide Hills used to grow hops commercially? The Lobethal bierhaus has revived the tradition of making beer/bier. It makes a number of styles and you can order a tasting tray to try them all! They open from Thursday - Sunday. They have a bar snacks menu but if you're going for a meal, be aware the weekends can get busy - bookings are recommended. Dog friendly outside.

If craft beer is your thing, then the Lobethal Bierhaus is a must visit. Family owned and run, the Bierhaus is both a craft brewery and restaurant. Enjoy great food either inside or outside on the terrace in the sunshine whist having one of their acclaimed beers or wines. A local favourite.
