A 15 minute walk will get you to one of the largest parks in the city. Spanning 3 blocks, the park boasts a splash park, an outdoor pool, tennis courts, a baseball court, two playgrounds for children of different ages, and a Chuck Brown memorial-- perfect for kids. Walk east down Franklin St., past Rhode Island Ave., and you will see the park entrance at 18th St. In the summer, Langdon boasts a pool and splash park that is open 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. everyday. You will need an ID to enter the pool -- adults are $7 and children/ seniors are $3.

Our local park, 3 doors away. Tennis, swimming pool, basketball (indoors and outdoors), skateboard park, dog park, horse shoe pits, childrens jungle gyms and play area and rock wall, swings, walking paths and lots of trees.
