If you visiting your child studing at PSU - it is walking distance. Every Saturday - Farmers Market from 9-2pm , live music on every corner, good food to eat, very popular place.Most locals go there

Just four blocks up the street is the meeting point for three of the excellent MAX light rail lines and the Portland Streetcar (which also has a stop just up the street from our front door). From here you can get access to most of Portland by rail.
