On the southern slopes of the Kozjak mountain dated 1189, the little church of St. Mary of Špiljana, today called Lady Stomorija was built. This is where the spirit and nature connects at the Biblical Garden. There are centuries old trees, olives, figs, vines and plants that are mentioned in the Bible. Dedicated nature lovers planted many other types such as Judas tree, laurel, spices and aromatic plants. In the entrance to the park, Pope John Paul II. planted and blessed an olive tree on September 27, 1987 during his visit to Split.

Na južnim padinama Kozjaka, između brda i mora, između planinskog grebena i pitome obale Kaštelanskog zaljeva, sačuvan je prirodni rezervat - Stomorija. Kaštelansko polje, zaštićeno Kozjakom od vjetrova sa sjevera, a izloženo suncu juga, podneblje je sa dahom mora i soli Mediterana. Ljube se tradicionalni dalmatinski kontrasti, kamenjar i škrta zemlja, makija i drača, loza i maslina, smokva i brnistra do mora.Područje Biblijskog vrta sačinjavaju: pristupni plato, crkva Gospe od Stomorije, potok, Jidro i Gospina njiva.
