Built on the Lingholm estate there is a strong tie to Beatrix potter as she stayed there for many years. The food is amazing and the views over the walled garden.

Great place when circling Derwentwater but be prepared for a queue as it’s that good. Check out the lakeshore I would love to own the boathouse

The cafe sits in a big old estate on the shores of Derwentwater. It’s a great cafe in a great location. Add a walk to your lunch and take in the walled kitchen garden. Strong recommendation.

You might have seen Chris Packham on TV visiting the Lingholm estate to walk with the alpacas. It is a beautiful country estate with a fantastic restaurant. You can catch a boat from Keswick across Ullswater to the Lingholm Jetty, or Hawes End Jetty its a short trip across lovely Ullswater have a short walk through the wooded estate then have lunch at the Lingholm Kitchen, you will not be disappointed, the food is excellent.
